Measure a ring that fits
Take a ring that is worn on the same finger. Measure straight across the inside, edge to edge, in millimeters, and find that diameter in the table below.

The surest way is to be measured in the showroom. These three ways get you close at home, and most rings can be resized later.

Wrap the finger
Wrap a strip of paper or a string snugly around the base of the finger, mark where it meets, and measure the length in millimeters. Find that circumference in the table.

Print the sizer
Print the sizer below at 100%. Lay a ring on the circles, or cut out the strip and wrap it round the finger.

For a good fit
- Time of day
- Fingers are largest at the end of the day and in warm weather. Measure then, or measure twice.
- Knuckles
- If the knuckle is larger than the base of the finger, the ring has to pass over it. Measure both and choose a size in between.
- Wide bands
- A wide band sits tighter than a thin one of the same size. For a band wider than about 6 mm, ask us about going up a half size.
Buying it as a surprise
Borrow a ring they already wear on that finger and measure it, or bring it to us and we will measure it while you wait. If you cannot, choose “Not sure yet” in the studio; we can resize the ring after it is given.
