Where is the shop?
At 1739 N. Clybourn Ave, Suite 1N, Chicago, IL 60614, in Lincoln Park.
When are you open?
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11:30am to 5pm, and Wednesday from 11:30am to 3:30pm. Saturdays are by appointment only. We are closed on Sundays.
Can I come in on a Saturday?

Can I text you?
Yes. Text 312-496-3425 with a question, a request or a new piece you want made. It is the same number you call.
Custom Pieces
How long does a custom ring take?
Making it takes about two weeks once you approve the design. Drawing the design together is usually the longest step.
Who will I work with?
Viktor, our G.I.A. certified gemologist, sketches the piece with you. The approved sketch is then modeled in CAD, so you can check every angle before anything is made.
Can you use my own gold or family diamonds?
Yes. Old pieces can be melted down and remade, and inherited stones can be set into a new design. Using your own materials lowers the cost of the new piece.
Can I design a ring online first?
Yes. In the design studio you choose the stone, shape, setting and metal. Bring the design to the showroom, or send Viktor a photo, a sketch or a few words.
Diamonds and Gemstones
Can I see a diamond before I buy it?
Yes. We search dealers around the world and ship the best matches to the showroom, so you choose with the stone in front of you.
Which grading labs do you recommend?
In order of preference: GIA, AGS, EGL, IGI and HRD. Ask for a certificate from an outside lab with a long record of strict grading.
Do you have colored gemstones?
Yes. We work with sapphires, rubies, emeralds and every birthstone, in rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
Repairs and Appraisals
What jewelry repairs do you do?
Ring sizing, prong re-tipping, stone replacement, cleaning and polishing, and necklace, bracelet and clasp repair. The work is done at our own bench.
Do you replace watch batteries?
Yes, here in the shop. We also repair fine watches and carry leather and stainless steel bands.
Do you appraise jewelry?
Yes, independently, for insurance, estates, taxes, donations, loans and divorce settlements. Reports give realistic replacement values.
How do I find my ring size?
Being measured in the showroom is the surest way. At home, measure a ring that fits, wrap the finger with a strip of paper, or print our sizer.
